PATRICIA WELLS: Reviews from the INTERNATIONAL HERALD TRIBUNE |
In our (humble - go ahead and laugh, it's okay) opinion, Patricia Wells
is one of the world's most successful food columnists. She may not be
as well known as those now gracing the cable airwaves, but Patricia
Wells success comes from calling it right. She is simply the most trust
worthy writer we have, and everyone we know that has used her
famous Food Lover's Guide to Paris is bound to agree. A trip to Paris
without her book at hand used to be regarded as "risky business."
Our links on the Gourmet Portal started linking to Patricia Wells food
articles, long before she had her own web site. We've kept some of those
links to articles at the International Herald Tribune active.
However we encourage to visit the Official Patricia Wells Web Site ,
and see all the material that's now officially available to view there.
On her site, you will find over one hundred articles taken from her
column at the International Herald Tribune archives.
Here are some links to a few articles from the past to give you an idea.
ITC stands for The International Herald Tribune.

- Lionel Poilâne's Rustic Apple Tart (Just one is worth the trip to Paris!)
used to be online ... and we used to link to it. Don't be mad at us. It's not our fault that it's gone.
Actually, it's available at foodandwine.com, but you need access to the site, and that's only available to subscribers and newstandbuyers. Of course, even with the recipe,
you'll have difficulty working the Poilâne magic. Everyone does, except the Poilâne family.
Oh yes, you can also find it in a earlier edition of Patricia's Food Lover's Guide to Paris.

Food Lover's Guide to Paris |

This s the only guide to Cusine in Paris that you need! Now in it's 4th Edition, but also quite out of date, since that edition is quite old by real world standards. |
