Close enough that on a clear day, you can see France off in the distance, the Channel Islands are a great place to relax and simply get away from it all. If we were looking for a real getaway in Britain, this is one of the places we'd seek refuge. In fact, we have! Take a fast "speed" ferry to or from France. Buy a Guernsey sweater. No, buy two Guernsey sweaters! You'll only regret it later if you only buy just one. Oh yes, buy an ice cream. The cream is just about unequaled anywhere (it's those Guernsey and Jersey cows, you know). Buy another ice cream before you leave. Life is short. “Don't worry. Be Happy!”

The site is not very big, but then neither is Sark. Come spend a day, or longer, this site features a B&B, on what is certainly the most charming little isle in the Channel Islands. No cars allowed! Very nice.
